Stephen Barlow’s Fishing Diary - Mirror Carp Fishing at Sunny Hill, staffordshire
Capture Details
Captor’s Comments:
I hooked this one with floated bread on a number 6 hook drifted under a tree over hanging the water. I used 4Ib Drennan float line straight through. This beauty gave me some grief as i had to be careful not to break my light tackle or snap my line. Consequently the time of the "play" must have dragged on for approx' 25 mins. There was a lot of satisfaction to be had from catching it on a light match rod and fairly slender line especially as there were quite a few snags about the pool.
